Viviana Arrunategui Norvick has been awarded the Clare Booth Luce Fellowship, providing funding for 5 years to pursue her PhD in Electrical Engineering at Mines. Originally from California, she completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University and her Master’s at UCSB, focusing on optoelectronics. Passionate about photonics research, she aims to advance optical systems for biomedical applications and will be working alongside Dr. Yamuna Phal at Mines.
